Advisory: Student Voter Registration Day Press Conference

NYC Votes, Council Member Helen Rosenthal, the New York Immigration Coalition and the New York City Department of Education will hold a press conference to announce plans for the second-annual Student Voter Registration Day (SVRD) on March 18. SVRD is a one-day program in more than 60 high schools to help students register to vote and educate them about civic participation.

Eligible students will be registered to vote in time to participate in the Presidential Primaries on April 19. The program will inspire and prepare all students to become active members of their communities beyond Election Day.
