Candidates for 2009 Citywide Elections File Disclosure Statments with Campaign Finance Board

108 potential candidates in the 2009 citywide elections have filed required financial disclosure statements with the Campaign Finance Board (CFB) as of 7:15 P.M. today.
This is the fourteenth scheduled disclosure statement for the 2009 citywide elections. All potential candidates in the 2009 general elections, including non-participants, are required by law to provide a detailed report of all financial activity for their campaigns covering the period September 29, 2009 – October 19, 2009.
This is the final disclosure statement filing deadline prior to the November 3 general election.
Daily pre-election disclosures. As of October 20, all candidates running in the general election, including non-participants, must report any contributions or loans of more than $1,000 and expenditures of more than $20,000 within 24 hours of the transaction. These pre-election disclosure statements are available for viewing (in PDF format) on the CFB website here.
Public funds payment. The final pre-election payment of public matching funds, which will be made on Thursday, October 29, will be based on matching claims disclosed through this filing statement.
