Candidates And Independent Spenders File Disclosures With Campaign Finance Board

205 candidates and 22 independent spenders in the 2013 citywide elections have filed required campaign finance disclosure statements with the Campaign Finance Board (CFB). All candidates and independent spenders for city office are required to file disclosure statements by midnight, September 20.

The following candidates and independent spenders have filed the required disclosure statements. Updated, detailed information for these candidates can be found on the CFB website's financial summary page and in the searchable online database.

All candidates participating in the public matching funds program must file disclosures by close of business on Friday, September 20, to be eligible for the first General Election public funds payments scheduled for Thursday, September 26.

  • Primary Election candidates must disclose all campaign finance activity from August 27 to September 16.
  • General Election candidates who were not in the Primary must report all activity from July 12 to September 16 to be eligible for the public funds payment on September 26.
  • Candidates in the Democratic primary runoff for Public Advocate must file daily pre-election disclosure statements.
  • Independent spenders must disclose all activity from September 10 to September 16.

All candidates and independent spenders file statements electronically. Candidates who need to submit backup documentation may do so electronically, in person, or by mail (as long as mailed submissions are postmarked by September 20). Friday, September 27 is the next disclosure deadline for candidates in the Public Advocate runoff election. October 4 is the next disclosure deadline for 2013 candidates and independent spenders in the General elections.
