As of noon today, 20 candidates and 11 independent spenders in the 2013 citywide elections filed required daily pre-election disclosure statements with the Campaign Finance Board (CFB).
During the 14 days before the Primary Election, candidates on the primary ballot must submit a disclosure statement within 24 hours to report the following:
- Contributions or loans from the same contributor or lender totaling more than $1,000; or
- Expenditures to the same vendor totaling more than $20,000.
The public may view information from these reports on the CFB's Daily Pre-Election Disclosure Summary page. Candidates will also report the information in these daily disclosures in the next regular disclosure statement which will be due on September 20.
During the same period, independent spenders are required to file disclosure reports within 24 hours of making an expenditure or receiving a contribution. The public may view updated, detailed information reported by independent spenders on the CFB's Campaign Finance Summary page and in the searchable database. There are also new independent spending charts that break down spending in each race.
The following independent spenders filed reports for September 6 - 7.
