As of 5:30 PM today, four candidates in the election for City Council District 23 have filed required campaign finance disclosure statements with the Campaign Finance Board (CFB). Today marks the 5th disclosure deadline in the 2015 Council District 23 off-year election in Queens, and the first disclosure deadline in the 2015a Council District 51 special election in Staten Island. The candidates, and independent spenders, must file disclosure statements with the Campaign Finance Board by midnight on Friday, October 2 detailing their campaigns’ financial activity for the period from September 18, 2015 to September 28, 2015.
