During a regularly scheduled meeting today, the Campaign Finance Board ratified determinations on Rule 5-02(a) petitions filed by 2009 City Council candidates Alan Gerson (CD #1), James Sanders, Jr. (CD #31), Tremaine Wright (CD #36), and Gary Reilly (CD #39) to challenge payment determinations made at the Board’s September 11 meeting. The Board denied each of the petitions, affirming the determinations made by Chairman Parkes on September 18.
The Board also ratified the payment of public matching funds made September 18 to four candidates in the Democratic primary runoff elections for public advocate and comptroller.
The next public meeting of the New York City Campaign Finance Board will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, October 1 at 40 Rector Street in Lower Manhattan (between Washington and West Streets), New York, NY 10006.
