The Campaign Finance Board is pleased to announce the publication of the official Voter Guide for the 2008 Fall election in City Council district 30 (Queens).
The New York City Voter Guide is a unique, valuable, nonpartisan resource that is produced by the CFB and mailed to every household with a registered New York City voter before each municipal general election. Candidates in a given election have the opportunity to submit a profile free of charge. Profiles include each candidate’s response to questions about issues of interest to voters, biographical information, and a photo.
The district 30 Voter Guide, printed in both English/Spanish and Chinese/Korean, has been mailed to the approximately 60,000 households with registered voters in that district. Voters began receiving their Voter Guides on Saturday, October 25.
In addition to covering the City Council race in district 30, the Voter Guide offers general voting information and instructions, as well as other resources.
