CFB Assesses Penalties Against Three Campaigns, Issues Post-Election Public Funds Payments

During a regularly scheduled meeting today, the Campaign Finance Board assessed penalties against three campaigns and issued post-election public funds payments to two campaigns.

Penalties were assessed against the 2005 City Council campaigns of Erlene King, Dhanpaul Narine, and Joel Rivera. For a complete list, see below.

The Board issued a post-election public funds payment of $13,827 to the campaign of Ms. King, after the withholding of penalties. A post-election public funds payment of $20,000 was also made to the campaign of Leithland Tulloch, a candidate in the February 20, 2007 special election in district 40 (Brooklyn).
