Filing Deadline for 2011 Election Tomorrow

Tomorrow is the deadline for candidates in the 2011 election to file campaign disclosures with the Campaign Finance Board. All candidates in the 2011 election will file required disclosure statements of their campaigns’ financial activity from August 9, 2011 to August 29, 2011. A complete list of candidates registered with the CFB for the 2011 election is available here.

FILING DETAILS

Candidates may deliver statements to the CFB by hand, submit their filings electronically, or send the materials by mail (as long as mailed submissions are postmarked by September 2, 2011).

As disclosures are filed, the CFB will update its website with the latest financial information at regular intervals. A press advisory will be issued to alert interested parties each time new information is posted to the website. The CFB will also post updates to its Twitter feed, @NYCCFB, as filings are received.

Financial information for campaign filers may be found in two places:

  • The CFB’s campaign finance summary page contains summary financial information for all candidates who file with the CFB.
  • Detailed information about individual transactions can be found in the CFB’s searchable online database.
