Fundraising Period for 2011 and 2013 Elections Ends Wednesday

Deadline to file campaign finance disclosures with CFB is Tuesday, January 17

Wednesday, January 11 is the last day of the six-month reporting period for candidates running for city office. All candidates in the 2013 elections will file required disclosure statements of their campaigns' financial activity from July 12, 2011 through January 11, 2012. A complete list of candidates registered with the CFB for the 2013 elections is available here.

In addition, all candidates who ran in the 2011 elections in Council District #28 will file required disclosure statements of their campaigns' financial activity from December 2, 2011 through January 11, 2012.

FILING DETAILS

Candidates may deliver statements to the CFB by hand, submit their filings electronically, or send the materials by mail (as long as mailed submissions are postmarked by January 17). Candidates may file as early as Thursday, January 12.

The CFB will post updates to its Twitter feed, @NYCCFB, as filings are received. You can easily search for updates with the hashtag #FilingDay.

As disclosures are filed, the CFB will update its website at regular intervals. A press advisory will be issued to alert interested parties each time the website is updated.
