The Campaign Finance Board and its Voter Assistance Advisory Committee announced the release of the Voter Assistance Annual Report for 2011–2012.
As mandated by the Charter, the Annual Report provides information on efforts to increase voter engagement in New York City during the past year. The report details various partnerships and innovations launched through the NYC Votes! program to help more New Yorkers register to vote and encourage them to get to the polls. It also includes legislative recommendations to improve the voting experience for all New Yorkers.
