NYC Votes Releases Guide to Special Election in Bronx Council District 17

The New York City Campaign Finance Board (CFB) announces the release of the official NYC Votes Voter Guide for the special election in Council District 17 (Bronx) that will be held on Tuesday, February 23, 2016. The online guide provides non-partisan information on the candidates appearing on the ballot, as well as information on where and how to vote. The Voter Guide is available in English and Spanish. 

"Decisions made in the City Council have a profound impact on the lives of New Yorkers, influencing how city government addresses issues like affordable housing, resources for schools, and job development, to name a few," said CFB Executive Director Amy Loprest. "It is critical that all registered voters in Council District 17 cast an informed ballot next week." 

The Video Voter Guide (VVG) will be broadcast on BronxNet TV in the days leading up to the election. The VVG includes 2-minute statements from each of the candidates on the ballot. The broadcast schedule is shown below, in addition the show is available on demand at www.bronxnet.org
