Second Disclosure Period of 2017 Elections Ends Sunday; Deadline to File with the CFB is January 15

The second campaign finance disclosure period of the 2017 elections will end at midnight on Sunday, January 11. Candidates for city office must file a disclosure statement with the Campaign Finance Board by midnight on Thursday, January 15 detailing their campaigns’ financial activity for the period from July 12, 2014 to January 11, 2015.

To date, 38 candidates have registered with the CFB for the 2017 elections.

FILING DETAILS

The CFB will post updates to its Twitter feed, @NYCCFB, starting Monday, January 12, as filings are received. Follow the hashtag #FilingDay to get the latest.

We will update our website at regular intervals to reflect disclosure statements that have been received. A press advisory will be issued to alert the public when the website has been updated with new information, including:

Information on the contribution and spending limits for the 2017 elections can be found here. The next filing deadline in the 2017 election cycle is July 15, 2015, covering the period from January 12 to July 11, 2015.
