1. What is the most important issue in Council District 14 you would address if elected?
For many years, the nomination process was tainted due to the petitioning requirements being so easily manipulated. Now the process is harder to manipulate therefore it allows more opportunity for a true representative of the community to emerge. I am that Representative; I will be the loud progressive voice for the community. One of the issues I would address is the Asthma situation in the Bronx it is very critical. The Education situation in the Bronx is in need of new ideas. Small Business in the Bronx is an issue underdeveloped, I will seek to develop the small business to add stability.
2. What other important issues would you address if elected?
The Revitalization of district 14 will be my top priority, assisting Small Business. Helping to expand or improve marking strategies, helping to create more jobs in the community. After school programs such as tutoring services to help improve our children’s reading and Math scores. We must continue to improve relationships between local precincts and the community creates function for them both to equally participate, we will not allow a few bad apples on either side to destroy this commitment.
3. What makes you the best candidate for this office?
What makes Antonio Rosario the best candidate for this office is, I will work very hard as a councilman, and I will be the voice at City Hall for those who have gone unheard. As a resident of the district for many years, I am very aware of the many problems facing our community. I believe any resident of the community should be able to attend Church on Sunday without having to worry about parking meters. I am committed to this community that’s what makes me the "Best" Candidate, Commitment.
