1. What is the most important issue in Council District 23 you would address if elected?

1. Education $$, class size and a broken HS selection process. 2. Halt McMansions and bring real Civic-Led reform to the DOB 3. Split the 105 Pct: It runs from the GCP to JFK, an hour's drive in traffic. 4. Prohibit Councilmembers from engaging in alternate employment. Want to operate your law practice? Don't run for office; it's that simple. 5. Integrity & Ethics in politics means you Don't Remain Silent when politicians engage in unethical behavior, or try to divide communities by playing identity politics.

2. What other important issues would you address if elected?

5 Things We Can Do Right Now: 1. Fund Trees & Sidewalks Program so homeowners can get root-damaged sidewalks fixed. 2. Make the city responsible, NOT YOU, for water & sewer repairs between the street and your home. 3. Allow DOB to withhold Building Permits from contractors with unpaid fines/violations. 4. Require an approved building permit before allowing a demolition. This will prevent the boarded-up-property syndrome that turns an otherwise beautiful block into an eyesore. 5. Full deductibility of water rate increases from YOUR property taxes will cap double-digit rate increases.

3. What makes you the best candidate for this office?

Pet Lovers: Bob made NY's largest garden co-op Pet-Friendly, allowing residents to own dogs & cats. Bob created the White Whiskers Program, providing services and funding to humanely reduce the feral cat population using the Trap, Neuter, Release program. Bob is working to establish a dog run in Bellerose. All candidates are not the same. Bob is NOT a politician and never worked for one. Civic Leadership is about fighting for our neighborhoods. Tired of constant political bickering? Elect a candidate who transcends party labels. Even Senator Padavan supports BOB and he's from the other party. Local Issues are neither Democrat nor Republican. When they are solved, everyone benefits! By electing a Civic Leader like Bob Friedrich, YOU will have the last word on Term Limits and we'll put an End to Politics-as-Usual.
