1. What is the most important issue in Council District 31 you would address if elected?

Educational improvements from infants to seniors. To address the education issues I will partner with faith-based institutions, City Agencies and City Council members to implement alternative school options and programs. The high schools in CD 31 are unequipped to compete in today's technologically aided economy. Technical and Building Trade skills must be brought back to the educational arena and adult education must be more comprehensive. I will work with the private sector and residents of CD 31 to finance and uplift the educational achievements of young parents and their infants to the educational achievements of seniors.

2. What other important issues would you address if elected?

The housing crisis has had a tremendous impact on CD 31. Mortgages and Foreclosures must be examined with new solutions. One of my platforms, The Mortgage Transplant Package will be an added option for homeowners. I will work diligently to ensure that government resources are available to help each homeowner. Far Rockaway has public housing that needs renovations and maintenance. Upkeep of the developments will stimulate CD 31 and provide jobs.

3. What makes you the best candidate for this office?

I am a new generation of leadership. I am a motivator and I am educated. As a resident of CD 31, I am aware of the issues that are affecting my constituents. In order to be effective I will have my ear to the ground, I will prioritize key problems in each AD and partner with experts to find solutions. My interest in politics has revived on the basis of America's crisis and President Obama's call for a new generation of leadership.
