1. What is the most important issue in Council District 4 you would address if elected?
Our children are our future-we must make their education a valuable and pleasant experience. High school students should have their first preference to the nearest high school.
2. What other important issues would you address if elected?
The city budget must be slashed and nothing should be held sacred. The subway and bus fare at $2.25 is an abomination. Companies and private individuals are leaving in droves because of the tax rates-taxes must be cut. Traffic is a disaster, double buses must be curtailed in the most congested areas, cabs must be forced to obey the rules of the road. The bus lanes must be free of all traffic during the bus only hours, this may mean not allowing autos to make right hand turns during these hours. Sanitation trucks must be encouraged to pick up during alternate side, as not to block traffic. Restaurants and bars can not have patrons out side their establishments at times that are unreasonable and do not allow people to sleep. The city never sleeps, but our citizens must.
3. What makes you the best candidate for this office?
I feel my most valuable asset is that I am a born and bred New Yorker. I have been through the city school system and understand how valuable to our society the school system is. Having a financial background is the most valuable training a councilman could have. The city needs councilman that can put this city back to fiscal health. I love our city, please support me in making it the best city in the world to visit, play and most importantly, live in.
