1. What is the most important issue in Council District 39 you would address if elected?
I am dedicated to increasing the level of community involvement and community pride in some existing programs that will better the quality of life in the district. I will address issues effecting traffic and transportation and continue to work with school officials to guarantee that the students of the 39th Council District will receive the best education possible.
2. What other important issues would you address if elected?
I would focus my agenda and make decisions based on the mind set that we need to make sure that New York City stays affordable for families to live and work here in Brooklyn. Additionally, we must keep New York affordable for our seniors and working families who have made our City the great place it is today, by working to increase senior and low cost housing opportunities, keeping the cost of prescription drugs down, and by passing laws that help to keep our community safe.
3. What makes you the best candidate for this office?
I will fight to make sure our East River Bridges are kept toll free. I will focus on the quality of life of our neighborhood to make sure that we remove graffiti, keep our taxes from rising and to work with our public school system to make sure that our children will have their test scores continue to rise.
