NYC Campaign Finance Board's Voter Assistance Advisory Committee to Discuss Ranked Choice Voting On Wednesday

02/22/2021

The NYC Campaign Finance Board's (CFB) Voter Assistance Advisory Committee (VAAC) will hold a public meeting on Wednesday, February 24, to discuss the CFB's voter education campaign around Ranked Choice Voting. All New Yorkers may tune in online from 5:30pm to 7:30pm.

The CFB is leading a voter education campaign to prepare New Yorkers for ranked choice voting. Components of the campaign include a robust education and frequently asked questions section on the CFB's website, postcards, social media content, online advertisements, training sessions for voters and community leaders, and more.

VAAC consists of nine members who advise the NYC Campaign Finance Board and its nonpartisan voter engagement initiative, NYC Votes. The committee recommends legislative and administrative changes to improve elections in New York City.
