Seventeen candidates in the February 24, 2009 special elections in Council districts 21 (Queens), 32 (Queens), and 49 (Staten Island) have filed required financial disclosure statements.
This is the second scheduled disclosure statement for the February 24 special elections. All candidates in the February 24 special elections, including non-participants, are required by law to provide a detailed report of all financial activity for their campaigns covering dates between January 12 and January 19, 2009.

Candidates may deliver statements to the CFB, submit filings electronically, or send the materials by mail, as long as mailed submissions were postmarked by midnight, January 23.
The next disclosure filing for the February 24 special elections is due Friday, February 13, and covers transactions conducted between January 20 and February 9, 2009.
