NYC Votes Releases Official Voter Guide for Special Elections in Staten Island and Brooklyn on May 5th

April 28, 2015

The New York City Campaign Finance Board (CFB) announces the release of the official New York City Voter Guide for the 2015 Special elections on May 5. The Guide, available online, provides voters living in the 11th U.S. Congressional District and Brooklyn’s 43rd State Assembly District with non-partisan information about the candidates for those offices, as well as information about where and how to vote.

Election Day is Tuesday, May 5. Polls will be open from 6 AM to 9 PM.

“When New Yorkers need to know who is on the ballot, they turn to the CFB’s Voter Guide,” said CFB Executive Director Amy Loprest. “I urge all New Yorkers in the contested districts to educate themselves about their choices and to cast their ballots on May 5th.”

The Voter Guide is available online in English, Spanish and Chinese. The Guide has been a cornerstone of the CFB’s voter education efforts in citywide elections for the past 27 years.

Do you know someone who can vote in these districts? If so, be sure to send them this e-mail to remind them to vote on May 5!
