Today is the last day in the current fundraising period for the 2013 elections. All candidates for city office are required to file disclosure statements detailing their campaigns’ financial activity from January 12, 2013 through March 11, 2013.
The deadline to file statements with the CFB is March 15. Candidates may file as early as tomorrow, March 12. A complete list of candidates registered with the CFB in the 2013 elections is available here.
Friday, March 15 is also the deadline for disclosure of independent expenditures in this election. Independent expenditures disclosures follow the same schedule as candidate disclosures. Disclosure statements from independent spenders must be filed electronically, and their disclosures can be found here.
Please note: Monday, March 18 is the filing deadline for candidates and independent spenders in the Queens special election in Council District 31. Candidates and independent spenders for the special election must file the required disclosure statements with the CFB covering the period February 5 through March 14. Candidates in this election may file disclosure statements beginning March 15.

The CFB will post updates to its Twitter feed, @NYCCFB, as filings are received. You can easily search for updates with the hashtag #FilingDay.
We will update our website at regular intervals to reflect disclosure statements that have been received. A press advisory will be issued to alert the public each time the website is updated.

The CFB’s campaign finance summary page contains basic financial information for all candidates who file with the CFB.
- Detailed information about individual transactions can be found in the CFB’s searchable online database.
Candidates may deliver statements to the CFB by hand, submit their filings electronically, or send the materials by mail (as long as mailed submissions are postmarked by March 15).
