Candidate Statement

My family has lived in the district for three generations — this is my community and I know its struggles. My family raised me with a strong sense of justice, and I have used that sense of justice to build a career as an educator and organizer.

I’m ready to fight for this community, for these people. I believe everyone deserves a home. As a public school teacher, I believe my students deserve nothing less than the best. I know climate change is an existential threat, and I want our children to have a planet to live on.

I’m running as part of a team of Democratic Socialists, because I believe that change only happens when we work together. And I believe that when we fight together, we win.
