Candidate Statement

I am proud to have served the people of the 67th Assembly district and the State of New York as a member of the Legislature for the last twelve years. In that time, I have passed more than 80 laws to improve the lives of all New Yorkers, including laws to protect the rights of women, LGBTQ+ individuals, people with disabilities, to improve the health and safety of all New Yorkers, particularly children, to expand the supportive services available to people struggling with the disease of addiction, to preserve affordable housing and protect tenants and to advocate for animal protections.

It is my job to give my constituents a voice in Albany – they trust me to represent their interests and they know that I will take on the fights that matter most to them.
