As a Community Planning Board Member of the City of NY, I have been working to enhance the delivery of “City Services.” Today, we are facing higher real estate and sale taxes, lay-offs,and drastic reduction of services. The approach to the problem by our elected representatives is to cut needed services. This is not the answer!! Working families are being forced to accept the the burden of higher taxes and higher fines, while the rich in Manhattan receive additional services and tax-breaks. Remember the MTA lied to the people in order to try to receive a fare-hike in bus and train services, the politicos are lying to us in order to trick the public into their agenda of higher taxes and lower services without cutting their special pet projects. Do not be tricked by your elected officials.

Sementilli on City Taxes:

Housing tax reduction is the answer to stabilizing our community. Create “Housing Zones” and “Apartment Zones” in the same manner as economic zones to allow homeowners and apartment renters take advantage of the same “tax-breaks” now given to corporation. We need to take stock in our Community.

Sementilli on Crime:

The Second Amendment allows the people the authority to make citizens “peace officers” who are duty bound to protect and support law and order. We can increase the NYC Police Department to 100,000 officers by upgrading the “Auxiliary Police Unit” to full Police Officer status. Volunteer Police Officer like Volunteer Fireman will help.
