1. What is the most important issue in Council District 2 you would address if elected?
If elected I would focus my efforts on several initiatives: improving and maintaining the highest standard of education, improving justice for all, access to affordable housing and development and attracting responsible business investment in District 2.
2. What other important issues would you address if elected?
Crime and Safer Streets, Mass Transit and Clean Air, Defending Civil Rights.
3. What makes you the best candidate for this office?
I believe I bring a unique experience in business and the arts to this campaign. I have spent the last four years assisting and giving opportunity to artists, mostly documentary filmmakers, so that their voices may be heard and their vision realized. I have worked with and spoke for local residents at Community Board 3 assisting them with issues from saving an educational and community center to bars/clubs not complying with city regulations. I want to bring what I have learned and experienced in the private sector and apply it to serving the public. I was born and raised in New York City and have lived and worked in this community for over ten years. I come from a working class family and I empathize on a very personal level with the lives of everyday people. I will work hard to address the issues that affect the citizens of District 2. Thank you.
