Council District #12 Special Election
New Yorkers will still be voting on Tuesday November 6th. Due to damage from Hurricane Sandy, some poll sites have changed. Please verify your poll site by texting NYCVOTES to 877-877, using the BOE’s poll site locator, or check the list here.
If you are a voter displaced by Hurricane Sandy, you can now vote by affadavit ballot at ANY NYS poll site. However, only the presidential and US Senate races will appear on affadavit ballots. To vote in local races (State Senate, State Assembly), you must vote at your assigned poll site.
There is a nonpartisan special election in Council District 12 (Bronx) to fill a vacancy. Below is the list of candidates running in that special election. Click on a name to view that candidate's profile. Candidates whose names are starred did not submit a Voter Guide profile.
