1. What is the most important issue in Council District 4 you would address if elected?
Education = Future
Quality education that delivers critical thinking skills is the key to realizing all our other objectives.
We ought to invest in a culture of excellence, while acknowledging the role of family.
2. What other important issues would you address if elected?
Realistic affordable housing policy.
It is not possible to have affordable housing and higher real estate taxes. Roll back the real estate tax increase and change zoning laws.
Healthy Economy
As a financial analyst I am well qualified to face the $49 billion budget, $7 billion deficit and $50 billion debt burden. This is not the legacy we want to leave to our children.
Building taxpayer-funded stadiums is not wise. Instead, we must promote a thriving business environment for all to benefit. A sound economy cannot depend on wishful thinking.
3. What makes you the best candidate for this office?
Having gained experience during my previous campaign for City Council, I have in-depth knowledge of the challenges of providing high-quality education, ensuring affordable housing, and promoting a healthy economy.
I am a 38-year-old financial analyst.
As a Jewish immigrant I chose New York as my home ten years ago. I know very well the struggle of those who work hard to earn a living,
I have volunteered for Big Brother programs teaching math to underprivileged children.
