1. What is the most important issue in Council District 8 you would address if elected?

Ensure our neighborhoods are healthy, safe, affordable and offer opportunity for children, families, seniors and those struggling to succeed.

2. What other important issues would you address if elected?

Strengthen public schools, including meaningful parental involvement.

Protect and expand affordable housing. Nobody should be forced out of their neighborhood. New Development should serve all people.

Deliver improved healthcare and services to seniors, increase affordable healthcare and childcare for kids, and a clean environment for everyone.

3. What makes you the best candidate for this office?

20 years of neighborhood activism at the Community Board, neighborhood associations and non-profits mean I understand the needs of district 8, and have demonstrated the commitment to create a better future.

With 17 years pioneering as a woman in management in a Fortune 500 Global Company, I have the experience to insure accountability for our tax dollars, and excellence in services.

As Chief of Operations for the Readnet Charter School in the Bronx, I have a track record of improving classroom success for kids and increasing parental involvement.

And I have a lifetime of fighting for justice, inclusion and celebrating the diversity of all the cultures that are the true riches of our community.

I would be honored to have your vote!
