1. What is the most important issue in Council District 12 you would address if elected?
Public Safety- "Those who are paid to protect us, must also respect us". There is a big communication gap between the police and the community. Then we need to address the Gang problem, they are terrorizing and vandalizing the community.
2. What other important issues would you address if elected?
Affordable homes-We must first define affordable, having 3 families residing inside one home, is not my definition of affordable. In various areas of district 12, homes are going for $400,000 while the average income is $60,000. We need homes to be affordable.
3. What makes you the best candidate for this office?
Co-founder of 100 Blacks in Law Enforcement, MBA and Associate in Applied Science from Monroe College, over 22 years of combine military service and 21 years in the New York city department of Correction, retiring with the rank of Captain. I am Battle tested for public service.
