1. What is the most important issue in Council District 19 you would address if elected?

Over-development is a major issue in District 19. For many years greedy developers, many from outside our district, have systematically worked to destroy the character of our neighborhoods; lining their own pockets at the same time. Today these same developers and special interests are trying to buy candidates so that they may continue to ruin our beautiful neighborhoods. While development in general is a good thing, our representative in the City Council must ensure that all development in our district is responsible development and retains the character of our neighborhoods.

2. What other important issues would you address if elected?

Education will always be one of my top priorities. I will work for smaller classes for our students and better pay for our teachers. I will also not forget our seniors. Seniors have too many complicated forms and government bureaucracy to deal with. I will be a resource for seniors to deal with government issues and agencies.

3. What makes you the best candidate for this office?

I have been a local political and community activist in our community for many years. My years of activity and service to our district led Councilman Tony Avella to also declare that I am the best suited candidate to succeed him as the City Councilman from our district.
