3. What makes you the best candidate for this office?
I am a law graduate from India, moved to the United States in 1980, and started my career as a busboy, Real Estate agent then a broker. My hard work enabled me to open a restaurant & maintain it for 16 years. I graduated from Pace Law School at the age of 48, in addition to my professional commitments and caring for my family & two young children. Now, I am a practicing attorney in Corona for over a decade and I am actively involved with the Queens Chamber of Commerce, CERT, Human Rights Commissioner & member of Knight of Columbus. I had the pleasure to work with Hillary Clinton, Al Gore, Andrew Cuomo and several others to promote the Democratic Party ideology, furthermore, have raised funds and voter registration for their campaigns. I am confident because of my varied and in-depth experience in all fields, especially being an attorney in the neighborhood, I will be the right advocate for the local issues and serve the public prudently.
