Voters Get Ready! Now Available - 2014 New York State Primary Voter Guide

Wednesday, August 27, 2014

The 2014 Primary Election Voter Guide is now live! Don’t forget to vote September 9 to choose party nominees to state offices- including Governor, Lt. Governor, State Senator and Assembly Member. (Remember- you can only vote in a primary held by the party in which you are enrolled.)

Enter your home address for a complete list of all candidates on the primary ballot in your district.

The Guide provides website and social media links for each candidate, allowing you to easily learn more about his or her platform and positions.

The Guide provides information about how and where to vote, including district maps to view Assembly, Senate, and Municipal Court voting districts. The Guide also includes a translation of key voting information in Spanish, Chinese, Korean, and Bengali.

Don’t forget: the deadline to apply for a mail-in absentee ballot is September 2. The last day to vote absentee in-person (by visiting a BOE office) is September 8.

Not sure if you’re registered to vote? Look up your registration status and which party you are enrolled in here.

If you aren’t registered, it’s too late to do so for the September 9 primary- but you can still register for the general election on November 4. Do it today! The deadline to mail in a registration form is Oct. 10.
