Reduce Tax &
Reduce Debt:
When it comes to economics in this most heavily
taxed city of ours, we have a major financial crisis
waiting to erupt. We have a $40 billion budget, and
the city spends it all and more. We also have 40$
debt. NYC has the second-worst credit rating in the
U.S., which means NYC bonds are considered to be
just above junk bonds on the financial markets.
There is no free lunch in New York City - just like
everywhere else in the country.
Folks, we are in financial trouble.
As if our debt burden is not enough, the city is
making plans to contribute substantial amounts of
money to the wealthiest firms in the world: a new
New York Times headquarters, a new stock exchange, a
new stadium.
- Stop the waste
- Contract city services
Reform Education System:
No reform without bringing parents back to the
equation can succeed, or without choice.
- Abolish the Board of Education, get politicians
and bureaucracy out of the system
- School Choice within and outside of the Public
School System using vouchers
- Teacher owned schools
- Simplify and encourage Charter schools
We couldn’t have a Benjamin Franklin or a Thomas
Edison today. They would be in special-ed classes,
drugged, learning how to count.
- Stop ADD drug distribution
Repeal Cabaret Laws:
The prohibition era law was passed in 1926
restricting dancing and playing music. Bars &
restaurants are required to obtain a cabaret license
to allow their patrons dance. Using this archaic
law, inspectors are chasing illegal dancing, which
has nothing to do about quality of life. This is
about civil liberties, property rights. “That’s how
you lose your freedom, it comes incrementally.”
