David lives with his wife and two children
in the heart of the Upper West Side. Having two
children in a one-bedroom apartment, he
understands the pressures of this housing market
and the difficulty of finding affordable housing.
He also understands the needs of a family with
children. He will work to create a safe and
inspiring environment for all of our children,
whether it is through school and extracurricular
programs or the enhancement of our park and play
spaces.
David received most of his education in public
schools, and is committed to Public Schools that
work. He will do what is necessary to cut the red
tape and provide a quality education which ensures
that all of our students achieve at grade level
and have a chance to succeed.
David attended one of the state colleges of
Cornell University and appreciates quality public
education. He is committed to the highest of
standards for our own City University and looks
forward to the day it is again known as the
Harvard of public colleges.
David is a lawyer. He understands our legal system
and will fight to protect our constitutional and
civil rights. He is well equipped to meet the
challenges of this job. David is for accountable
school officials and empowered teachers. He is for
affordable need-based housing and a balanced,
environmentally sensitive approach to provide
economic growth and opportunity while maintaining
a high quality of life.
