It is truly an honor and a privilege to represent
the views of community members who want to see our
community and our city refocus its priorities. As
a candidate for the N.Y.C. Council, I stand for
those who want children to have a good education
and sound health. I stand for those who want safe
streets and a more efficient government. I stand
for those who want to shop in their own community
and those who want government to invest in our infrastructure.
As a N.Y.C. Councilmember, I will fight to insure
that my community’s views are part of the body politic.
I look forward to being a catalyst for bringing
feelings of hope and faith back to my community.
I will focus on building for the future by writing
and/or supporting laws that attack our problems
with vision and compassion. I will direct funding
to programs throughout the district that provide
children with safe space, and adults with retraining
opportunities. I believe we can improve our hospitals
and our approach to health care delivery. We can
protect our environment. We can help support entrepreneurs
who want to invest here.
As the next City Councilperson, I will be vigilant
and assertive. I will build community.
