1. What is the most important issue in Council District 41 you would address if elected?

Other neighborhoods get new schools, community centers, parks, movie theaters. Our community gets prisons. What kind of message does that send to our kids? I’ll fight hard every single day to bring positive change to our community and make sure the City responds to our needs. That’s why I’m running for City Council.

2. What other important issues would you address if elected?

On the City Council, I will fight to bring economic development and quality affordable housing to our community. I’ll stand up for better public schools for our kids and work hard to improve access to healthcare. And I won’t let City Hall make our community a dumping ground for jails, garbage, or anything else – because I’ve already devoted so much of my energy to making life in our neighborhood better.

3. What makes you the best candidate for this office?

I am a grassroots community activist and union member who’s spent years working for change in our neighborhood.

I’ll fight hard every single day to bring positive change to our community and make sure the City responds to our needs. That’s why I’m running for City Council.
