1. What is the most important issue in Council District 31 you would address if elected?

Most imperative is the need for multi-purpose community centers to service youths, seniors and other residents of the district. We need safe, clean places for District 31 residents to go for after-school & recreational activities and job-training. These centers will serve as the nucleus of our community, supplying safe environments to keep kids productive & out of trouble and providing much needed services for our seniors.

2. What other important issues would you address if elected?

Improving the educational system for our children is a major point of concern in my community. As someone who has two children in the NYC Public School system, you can count on me to address the issues facing our students. In addition, I will work to revitalize our merchant strips by implementing outreach programs and providing support for entrepreneurial efforts to diversify the economy and create viable businesses in the district.

3. What makes you the best candidate for this office?

I am the best candidate for this position because of my experience as a neighborhood activist in the community, coupled with the skills that I have attained as an attorney. I am a strong, experienced and dedicated individual with innovative thinking who will work to ensure that my community receives its fair share. I know and live our issues; I have been in the forefront fighting to make a difference; I represent a brand of leadership with fresh ideas, bringing fresh results.
