1. What is the most important issue in Council District 28 you would address if elected?
The most important issue I will address is Education. There is need for our reading and math scores to be improved, for more after school programs to be implemented, for more libraries to be opened in schools and in the District, and for parents to be given training and our teachers to be treated with respect.
2. What other important issues would you address if elected?
The other important issues are Housing, Immigration, Employment, Affordable Health Care, Programs for Seniors, Youth and Daycare Centers and better relations with the Law Enforcement Agencies.
3. What makes you the best candidate for this office?
By virtue of my experience as a teacher and community worker over many years, I feel confident that I can serve my community and bring much needed resources to it. I believe in selfless service. I am a strong advocate of community participation and family values.
